Film Festival Friends over the Border

There is nothing more valuable, when starting something new, than talking to a friendly someone who has been there, done that, and we have the best of friends just over the border in the Norwich Film Festival. Having been regulars at the festival we were so pleased to find that Craig Higgins was happy to advise and counsel us as we make our way to the full festival next year.

Craig has been involved with festival for several years – first as a volunteer, then a film reviewer, then an operation and events coordinator. He became co-director in 2015 and has been responsible for many of the expansion developments since then. He has been so encouraging whilst still flagging up potential issues for a fledgling film festival and it’s been wonderful to have a such a generous adviser so close at hand.

UPDATE: Submissions have closed now and tickets are on sale for the 2019 NFF, which will take place from 6th – 17th November, not only have they got an amazing line up, but the the Q&A’s are going to be fascinating, we’ve been booking away!

Craig is going to be stepping back for a while in November though, with so much on his plate already his life is about to get busier… he’s about to be joined by their first born! Huge thanks to Craig and good luck with the sleepless nights…
