TAKING EAST X EAST TO THE BIG SCREEN:
SUFFOLKS HISTORIC CINEMAS
We're thrilled to announce that our special programme, EAST X EAST, is going on tour — and we couldn't be prouder of where it's headed.
This October, we're bringing our selection of ten outstanding short films to three of Suffolk's most beloved cinemas
The Regal Cinema in Stowmarket on October 10th, Abbeygate Cinema in Bury St Edmunds on October 15th, and The Riverside Cinema on October 22nd.

These cinemas aren't just venues — they're part of the fabric of their towns, places where generations of local people have gathered to watch stories unfold on the big screen. There's something special about showing new, homegrown short films in spaces with so much history and character. It feels like exactly the right home for work that's honest, surprising and deeply rooted in this region.

We think it's a selection that deserves to be seen by as many people as possible, and touring these historic cinemas is our way of making that happen — taking the programme beyond a single festival night and out into communities across the county.
We can't wait to welcome audiences old and new through the doors of the Regal, the Abbeygate and the Riverside this October. Come and see why we're so excited about this selection — and about the beautiful cinemas bringing it to life.
