Suffolk Shorts is a small one day short film festival held in the historic film theatre The Riverside in Woodbridge, Suffolk, England. The festival aims to introduce independent British and International short films to a new audience, and champions local filmmakers. We are committed to ensuring greater access for as wide an audience as possible, in a region currently lacking opportunities for engagement with independent British and International short film.
We believe that short films are the future, this means that we are looking for potential. We are looking for films that experiment, push boundaries, tell a story you haven't heard before and do so in a way that captivates the audience. We are not just looking for highly polished, big budget productions, we want to celebrate all filmmakers, regardless of their access to resources.
The Riverside is right next to Woodbridge train station.
